Freedom of movement one year after bilateral arthroplasty
The patient’s story: Life on pause
The patient came to us with severe bilateral coxarthrosis. Every step was accompanied by pain, and usual household chores became impossible. When both hip joints are affected, the body does not have a “support” leg, which leads to a rapid misalignment of the pelvis and problems with the spine.
Solution: Restoration of both joints
Bilateral arthroplasty was performed. Our goal was not just to replace the joints, but to restore the correct biomechanics of walking and restore the symmetry of the patient’s movements.
Key stages:
Accurate planning: Selection of prosthesis components for perfect fit to the anatomy.
Stable fixation: Use of modern cementless systems.
Early mobilization: The patient started to stand up and walk with support already in the first days.

Result after 12 months: New quality of life
A year is a term when we can evaluate the final result. The patient has fully returned to an active life.
What we see in a year:
Complete absence of pain: No need for painkillers.
Natural gait: Absence of lameness and complete symmetry of the step.
Confidence in movements: The patient can freely walk, climb stairs and do household chores without restrictions.
